Kai Scott-Bonds

Kai Scott-Bonds is motivated by a deep desire to defy the statistics placed on her life. She is committed to delivering excellence in everything she does, from products offered through her online store to impactful speaking engagements and her podcast. As a motivator and leader, Kai is passionate about encouraging, uplifting, and supporting others as they work toward reaching their highest potential.

Kai’s dedication to service has earned her recognition from numerous nonprofit organizations for her outstanding commitment to the community. She is also the creator of Tomorrow’s Leading Ladies, a mentorship program designed to empower and guide young women. Her passion for mentoring began in 2005, when she devoted significant time to teaching life skills and providing guidance to young women in her community.

In addition to her community and professional work, Kai appeared on the OWN Network’s reality television series Love & Marriage: Huntsville. Following her appearance—where she was publicly labeled as an “angry Black woman”—Kai chose to transform that experience into purpose. What could have defined her instead became the foundation for a new chapter.

Today, Kai is the founder of The Queen Collections, a multifaceted company, and Big Fish Podcast, and she is currently working on her upcoming book. Her mission is not only to reclaim her narrative but also to show others that you cannot always judge a book by its cover.

Best known for inspiring people to never give up on their dreams—and to dream even bigger once they achieve them—Kai continues to expand her reach through speaking engagements while proudly calling Michigan home. She is setting a new standard for using adversity as fuel to create meaningful change.
